Lyrics

She's a palomino mare, you can tell by her mane
Golden brumby, coach leader of the herd
And her name is Mrs Gardiner she's faster than the wind she's the one who dodged the bullets and got away
Now there's much more to this story than at first meets the eye, not just talking 'bout the brumbies cause that wouldn't be quite right
There's a man named Digby Peter who lives and works on the land and he understands wild horses, just like the back of his hand

Now Digby and his posse there as savvy as you pleases and they saw that something must be done so they made an association for heritage horse protection now the brumbies grass and graze and carry on

Mrs Gardiner leads the brumbies to the Guy Fawkes sanctuary block where Digby makes them ready for a saddle and a trot and he never uses whips and force cause he understands each horse

Talkin bout Guy Fawkes brumbies
From the Northern tablelands
Guy Fawkes brumbies part of our history
Part of our land

These Whaler's are majestic, they have passed the test of time
Riding cavalry into battle man and horse on the front line there can be no greater test for bravery and strength
And there's no mistaking brumbies have always been our friends

Talkin bout Guy Fawkes brumbies
From the Northern tablelands
Guy Fawkes brumbies part of our history
Part of our land

She's a palomino mare, you can tell by her mane
Golden brumby, coach leader of the herd
And her name is Mrs Gardiner she's faster than the wind she's the one who dodged the bullets and got away
She's a palomino mare, you can tell by her mane...
